WAXING
We only use the highest quality wax that is super gentle and effective. Our wax contains no preservatives, dyes or pine, resins so is perfect for sensitive skins.
Prior to having your wax we gently massage the area with a bambo glove and a light powder which contains Manuka and Kanuka oils. This helps to remove dry skin, encourages the hair to stand up so they are easier to remove and the mixture of Manuka and Kanuka oil helps to prevent ingrowns.
After waxing we gently wipe the area with a warm towels and massage a mixture of pure coconut oil and kanuka oil into the waxed area

FAQS

I’ve never been waxed before. How is it done? Warm wax is applied to the area and then removed, bringing the hair with it. There are two types of wax hard and soft. Hard wax, which is easier on delicates, is often used on the face, underarms, and bikini area. Soft wax is used on the legs, arms, back and chest.
Waxing reduces hair growth when performed at regular 30 day intervals. Because waxing pulls the hair out by the root, it grows back softer, finer and thinner. The more you wax, the less hair grows back.
Preparing for treatment: Let the hair grow out to about 2cm above the skin. If hairs are too short, the wax won’t adhere strongly enough to pull them out.
Home care after waxing: Directly after waxing, avoid direct sunlight and exercising especially while the skin is still red from treatment. For 24 hours after waxing, avoid hot showers, steam rooms and products with strong perfumes, or dyes. Apply a gentle moisturiser 24 hours after treatment.
